THE BONNER FOUNDATION for performance leadership
Building leaders who serve and lead under pressure
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to build leaders who serve and lead under pressure.
At the Bonner Foundation for Performance Leadership, we believe strong leaders don’t just happen — they are equipped, developed, and given the tools to succeed.
How We Fulfill the Mission
We do this through two tracks of impact that amplify The Debrief Advantage™ System:
1. Scholarships and Awards — recognizing and equipping student veterans preparing for careers in high-stakes environments such as aviation, healthcare, and public safety.
2. Foundation-Sponsored Keynotes — delivering resilience and leadership lessons to today’s professionals serving in demanding, high-stakes environments.
Two Tracks of Impact
Investing in Future Leaders: The Debrief Advantage™ Leadership Award
-
Who it helps: Student veterans preparing for high-stakes careers of service, in high-stakes environments such as aviation, healthcare, and public safety.
-
What it provides: A scholarship to ease financial burden, plus recognition as a leader who demonstrates resilience, courage, and readiness to serve under pressure.
-
Why it matters: Veterans already know what it means to serve under pressure. This award helps them take the next step — building careers that protect lives, guide teams, and strengthen communities.
-
Community benefit: Alongside the scholarship, the campus community receives a leadership keynote — ensuring more students walk away with tools they can apply immediately to grow and improve.
Supporting Today’s Leaders: Foundation-Sponsored Keynotes
-
Who it helps: Leaders in aviation, healthcare, and public safety who often face immense challenges with limited resources.
-
What it provides: A limited number of Foundation-sponsored, fee-waived keynotes each year. These are selectively awarded to conferences and associations whose mission aligns with ours.
-
Why it matters: These leaders are responsible for guiding teams and protecting communities under pressure. By equipping them with proven tools for resilience, growth, and high-stakes leadership, we strengthen their ability to serve others when it matters most.
-
Outcome: Leaders walk away with strategies they can put into practice immediately — building cultures of resilience and continuous improvement in high-stakes environments.
